Tinsley Marina

A while ago I stumbled across Tinsley Marina and the impressive flight of locks around it. It’s a lovely little spot that I previously didn’t know existed. It’s hidden away in an area of industrial buildings and entertainment/shopping complexes and it’s funny to think that I went past it so many times without knowing it existed.

I didn’t have time to check it out then but today I had a proper explore.

Lovely sky last night

Probably not as spectacular as the sky I missed the other night but still lovely.

One day I’ll post something on here that isn’t a poorly taken photo of the sky…

Red sky in the morning

On the way to work this morning the clouds were a beautiful, almost electric, red. There pictures (taken from Blake Street) don’t really do it justice.

Winter sunshine in Weston Park

Weston Park looks pretty in the winter sunshine. I wish I had time to stop and enjoy it.

Faces

As we age our faces don’t deteriorate. The wrinkles and scars and white hairs are not blemishes. Over time we slowly sculpt our life experiences onto the template of a face that we are born with.

Dufflecoat weather

Yesterday was bloody cold and today it’s even colder so it’s time to get out my dufflecoat – one of my highlights of the year. I love winter. I hope it snows soon.
